Greek isopsephyThis is the Greek numeral table, distinct from Hebrew and Jewish Latin mappings.
Sigma and numeral signsFinal sigma keeps ordinary sigma’s value; historical numeral signs are accepted.
Case and accentsCase does not matter. Combining marks are ignored for totals and preserved in your text; spaces, punctuation and digits add nothing.
Limited word listMatches come from a small original Greek list. Other words outside this list may share the same total.

Isopsephy sums Greek letter values from the alphabetic numeral table: units, tens and hundreds. It is distinct from Hebrew gematria and the modern Jewish Latin mapping. Latin transliterations are not converted into Greek.
Uppercase and lowercase count equally. Combining marks are ignored for totals and preserved in the original text; final sigma and ordinary sigma have the same value. Stigma and digamma, koppa and sampi retain their historical numeral assignments. Spaces, digits and punctuation do not count.
Enter the exact Greek spelling and inspect each letter in the breakdown. Repeated letters count every time; the total is not reduced or multiplied. If another tool disagrees, check its table and variant handling. Concordance searches a small original Greek list, not a complete dictionary. Our Greek list is limited, so other words may share the total. Record the original spelling and method as part of your study.
