Word list coverage

Our filtered list contains 104,393 distinct entries. Its sources contain 76,287 SCOWL words, 3,475 English names, 300 original phrases and 53 original Hebrew and Greek entries. The Hebrew list also includes FrequencyWords entries from OpenSubtitles2018, licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0. Duplicates and entries on our authored blocklist are removed. Matches sort by SCOWL commonness tier for English and source frequency rank for Hebrew, then shorter entries, then alphabetically; this is not measured search frequency or a search of the whole web. How to use the Decoder

Enter a whole number from 0 to 500,000,000 and choose a cipher. Matches are calculated independently for each table; a result in one table need not match in another. Select a word to calculate it across the free ciphers. These entries match the selected numerical total; their interpretation is left to you and your tradition. The list is limited; an empty result does not mean that no other words share the number.

Where do these matches come from?

Our independent list includes licensed SCOWL words, English names, original phrases and FrequencyWords Hebrew entries under CC BY-SA 4.0. Greek uses a small original list. Counts describe this list, not every possible word.

How are matches sorted?

English uses SCOWL commonness tiers; Hebrew uses source frequency rank. Shorter entries within a rank come first, then alphabetical order. Free results show the first five; Pro shows all available matches.
